Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality therapy services to children with diverse needs. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop essential communication skills, improve their quality of life, and reach their full potential through engaging and tailored interventions.

Duties

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans based on IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.
• Support therapy sessions with children across various settings such as schools, homes, or clinics, ensuring activities are engaging and developmentally appropriate.
• Monitor and document childrens progress during therapy sessions, providing detailed reports to supervising clinicians.
• Help prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet each child's unique needs in pediatrics and early intervention programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and other therapists to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment that encourages childrens participation and growth.
• Follow all safety protocols related to acute care settings when applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in pediatric or school environments.
• Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and physiology related to speech production.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and basic physiology concepts relevant to speech-language pathology.
• Prior experience supporting students with diverse needs in early intervention or school settings is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
