Job Summary

As a Brook Valley Export team member, your primary responsibility is to perform your duties according to company procedures and is a way that exceeds our customers’ expectations as their satisfaction is our #1objective.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

• Loading and unloading trucks promptly and safely
• Receive and store incoming materials according to warehouse standards
• Adheres to all safety practices when operating in the warehouse
• Moving materials within the facility as needed
• Documents movement and weights for warehouse tracking system
• Performs equipment inspection as directed and documents subsequent actions
• Connecting dock plates as needed
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of staged and stored product

Position Qualifications:

• A Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to submit for a drug screen
• Operates material handling equipment safely, utilizing personal protective equipment
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate with floor supervisors and co-workers
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to sit at least 8 hours a day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds when necessary
• Ability to speak conversational English
• Adhering to company attendance requirements
• Previous forklift driving experience preferred
