Equipment Operator
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Caroll, Ohio area, is seeking equipment operators to join their team! This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Equipment Operator Job Summary:
· Pay: Salary
· Shifts Available:
o 1st Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (this is a direct hire opportunity)
·
- Safely operate a variety of equipment such as skid steers, excavators, forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other machinery.
- Load and unload equipment for customer pickup and delivery.
- Perform deliveries and pickups to customer job sites, ensuring proper securing of equipment during transport.
- Demonstrate proper operation and safety procedures to customers at the time of rental or delivery.
- Inspect equipment before and after rentals to identify damage, wear, or needed maintenance.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance (e.g., checking fluid levels, cleaning equipment, minor repairs).
- Maintain a clean, organized yard and work area.
- Complete required documentation (inspection reports, delivery logs, rental checklists).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
- Assist customers with equipment selection and basic troubleshooting when needed.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly to management.
Equipment Operator Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED is required
· Previous equipment operator or heavy machinery experience required
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs. repeatedly
