Quality Assurance Engineer Improvement

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Responsibilities Review and analyze warranty, IQS, and other customer feedback to determine priorities for improvement. Update customer feedback database with improvement activities and status. Communicate with cross‑functional departments to ensure understanding of customer issues and improvements. Visit suppliers and/or dealers, when required, to investigate and determine countermeasure effectiveness. Coordinate and conduct internal campaigns for quality flow‑outs to customers and issue reports. Investigate and inform responsible departments of external quality concerns, working with departments to identify root cause, implement containment, and develop countermeasures in a timely manner. Check the field’s TSB and create its own TSB once the field campaign is determined. Issue reports and presentations regularly to inform customers on progress and results. Support and coordinate plant‑wide and department‑wide quality planning, conferences, and events for external customers. Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Meet all other requirements as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of automotive industry quality standards and regulations. Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software. Domestic / International travel may be required. Physical Demands While in Office: Primarily sedentary, working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds). Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents. Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed. When in Production Area (if applicable): Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations. Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds). Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment. Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively. Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required. Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly.
