Wildfire Ignition Safety and Execution Program SupportPay Rate Range: $ 49 - 52/hr on W2Job Summary: This position supports Client's Wildfire Ignition Safety and Execution (WISE) program, which is responsible for driving full compliance of utility standard, EMER-4102S, "Preventing and Mitigating Fires While Performing Client Work". The standard defines mitigations that must be applied before starting any Client work to prevent fires under various conditions, adapting daily work practices to changing ignition potential.The position will translate complex procedural information based on business requirements and standards into user-friendly references such as Policy and Procedures, user manuals and job aids. Collaborates with and gathers information from internal and external clients to develop documentation that is easy to understand and use. Supports field inquiries regarding policy interpretations. Performs document editing, editing written materials prepared by other writers, document lifecycle management, basic web setup and document publishing. The position will develop presentations and manage program data in various database programs (Excel, Power BI, Salesforce) to produce reports utilized for progress reporting, trend analysis, and program compliance.Major Responsibilities:Manage communicationsSchedule and coordinate events as requestedDevelop an understanding of Client fire prevention standardsDevelop internal work procedures and initiate process improvementsAssist Management with the leadership of key department initiatives such as system development, training and focused campaigns/initiativesLiaison between various departments and cross functional teamsInfluence decisions, providing recommendations for change that will lead to the success of company goals and cost effectivenessResearch and data analysis; compile and prepare reports for upper managementUtilize system and personnel resources to successfully address inquiries from internal business partnersSupport organization as a subject matter expert by providing information and direction to resources through various delivery channelsDevelop and manage trainings to enhance knowledge and job skillsParticipate on cross functional teamsDistinguishing Characteristics:Has basic understanding of department and/or line of business function and responsibilitiesBasic understanding of internal business partner functions and tools and resources used to perform job dutiesAssists others using established processes, practices and procedures as directedCommunicates with peers within and outside of the department, providing information or exchanging dataAssigned to handle the standard inquiries and reactive tasks, seeking guidance and advice from peers and SupervisorEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experienceExperience: Typically requires 0-3 years of related experience or equivalentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Qualitative and quantitative analytical skillsAdaptable to changing environments and ability to learn new concepts quicklyOrganizational skills; ability to multitaskVerbal and written communicationProficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS WordPublic speaking and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects with demanding time constraintsWorking Conditions: Hybrid, some work will be performed in Client office setting with some travel for meetings and trainings.
