Senior Staff Engineer, SRE/DevOps

To support the development of a unified network model, the full-time Senior Staff Engineer, SRE/DevOps will design, develop, and operate scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Design and develop reliable services to model network entities and relationships within Equinix's global network Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the unified network model, addressing critical business problems related to network reliability and visibility Lead discussions on software requirements and design trade-offs, ensuring integration of the unified network model with other initiatives Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in developing distributed, scalable software services using Golang Experience in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or cloud-based environments with a focus on production readiness Proficiency in data management systems such as GCP Spanner, MongoDB, and Redis Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
