Performs other tasks as required. This opening is for evening shift.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Organizes personnel assignments and training to meet daily customer production schedules while maintaining safety and quality requirementsPerform daily employee performance & attendance management actionsAssist in developing and orientate new team membersDrive and lead organizational strategic imperatives and initiativesImplement improvement ideas by leveraging team members feedback and suggestions on opportunitiesAssist in developing a culture focused on safety, quality, delivery and costCommunicate relevant business information, company policies, and business updates to team membersCollaborate cross functionally with other departments and organizational stakeholdersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Behavioral based safetyISO Standards/Quality Management SystemOSHA and Environmental standardsPerformance ManagementOperational Excellence/Lean/Continuous ImprovementWorking knowledge of DMAIC methodologyStrong written and verbal communicationAdvanced Leadership and Team Management skillsCritical Thinking-Problem Solving Process/A3/8D/5 WhyMicrosoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPointEducation:Bachelor Degree Required or equivalent combination of education and experience; 1yr experience may substitute for 1yr of degree. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted in place of degree requirement.Physical Requirements: Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20-50lbs) Examples: Nurses, LVNs and physical therapistsEnvironment: Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights.
