About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate with at least three years of recent public accounting experience to join our team. The Senior Tax Associate will prepare and review individual and business tax returns, assist clients with tax planning, research complex federal and state tax issues, and work directly with clients to provide responsive, high-quality service. This position offers the opportunity to manage client engagements, develop meaningful client relationships, and mentor junior team members while working closely with firm leadership. What You'll Do Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate income tax returns Perform tax planning and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients Prepare and review financial statements and related workpapers Research federal and state tax issues and prepare written conclusions Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and planning opportunities Manage multiple client engagements and competing deadlines Assist with mentoring and developing junior staff, as appropriate What We're Looking For 3+ years of recent public accounting experience CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA licensure Strong knowledge of federal income taxation for individuals and closely held businesses Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple client engagements and priorities Commitment to professional excellence and exceptional client service Why Join Lomness CPA Services Inc?
