In a decade, we have worked with over 150 clients on 300+ engagements.Job DescriptionSummary: This role requires a blend of Middle-tier and presentation-tier skills (both server-side and client-side design and development skills) with strong Core Java skills to work on a development team that supports various insurance portals and customer facing applications. The team is creating a comprehensive web portal for brokers and retail customers, all web based development. Skills required are expert level with Spring MVC module, strong with RESTful Web Services, proficient with jQuery - JSON, XML, AngularJS is ideal and experience with JBOSS. This applications supports agents, brokers and retail customers so the UI is critical and rich and feature filled.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 9-10 years of experience in Web application design and developmentMinimum 8 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologiesVery strong working experience with Spring MVC module and proficient knowledge of componentsRESTful Web Services hands on experience and integration with SpringFamiliarity with AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries like jQuery and working with JSON, any experience with HTML5 is idealMust have good understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability, security)Familiarity with Web application security considerationsExpert level skills in Object-Oriented software designMedium level skills in SQL and database designDesirable knowledge includes P&C Insurance industry, JBOSS, ESB (Mule), Rule Engines, JSON, JUnit, Web Services, Unix Shell ScriptingKindly note: This position is open for our client.QualificationsAny Bachelor degreeAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
