Warehouse clerk

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk with valid forklift certification to join our team. In this dual-function role, you will perform essential inventory, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment tasks while safely operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts (reach trucks). The ideal candidate brings organizational habits, precise record-keeping skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities Material Handling & Forklift Operation:

• Safely operate sit-down and stand-up (reach truck) forklifts to move, stack, retrieve, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight trailers, containers, and flatbeds.
• Transport materials to designated rack locations, bin storage, or production staging areas.
• Perform daily pre-shift forklift equipment inspections and document any maintenance needs or safety hazards.

Warehouse Operations & Clerical Duties:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify physical counts against bills of lading/packing slips, and inspect for damage.
• Process inventory movements using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Accurately pick, pack, wrap, and label customer orders following pick sheets or digital queues.
• Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and assist with physical stock audits.
• Generate, organize, and maintain shipping manifests, receiving logs, and inventory documentation.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification: Active OSHA-compliant Forklift Certification (Sit-down and Stand-Up/Reach Truck) required.
