How ACCESS PT supports you: 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan - 100% match after 1 year (up to 4%) Paid sick leave (varies by state) Wellness Program Access 10% childcare tuition discount at Kindercare Childcare Centers Training and career development Network partnerships with top health systems in the region Job Position: Physical Therapy Aide Job Location: 8 North Broadway Yonkers, New York 10701 Job Type: Part-Time Salary Description: $16.00-$19.00/hour, based on experience Responsibilities: Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
