We're here to help our colleagues achieve success and offer an inclusive and collaborative culture where your voice is valued.Machine Learning Scientist III wanted by American Express Global Business Travel, Egencia in Bellevue, WA.Responsibilities include:Creating and deploying sophisticated machine models that power a vast range of applications related to automatically finding data inconsistencies and optimization of transaction queuesBuilding on strong competencies in Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, and Natural Language ProcessingWorking closely with business units and internal partners to understand issues and implement industry-leading solutionsContinually performing deep dives into the data to uncover new patterns and business opportunities, and leading the implementation of new ideas from inception to productionAccessing powerful data mining tools and infrastructure to try out new ideas and have significant, immediate business impact.Qualifications:Must have a Master's degree in Data Analytics or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience/skills.Three (3) years demonstrable experience with Machine Learning models creation, deployment and with concrete results of return on investmentThree (3) years experience with a programming or scripting language (any one or a combination of Python, Java or Scala)Three (3) years of experience using database technologies (any one or a combination of Oracle, Postgres or Snowflake) and data manipulation (any one or a combination of PySpark, SQL or Parquet)Three (3) years of experience using AWS technologies (any one or a combination of DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS, Lambda, EKS or EC2)Three (3) years of experience leading long-running projectsThree (3) years of experience with the full (software) lifecycle including maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting production systems.May work from home within commuting distance from office.
