Kalusugan Homes is an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We're looking for an experienced DSP ready to step into a leadership role — someone who sets the standard on shift and brings the team up with them.
You'll: lead shift operations and delegate assignments, train and mentor new DSPs, oversee medication administration and QuickMAR documentation, review incident reports before submission, ensure IPP/ISP goals are being implemented and documented, and serve as the on-shift point of contact for the Administrator.
You need: DSP 1 and DSP 2 certification (both required), 2+ years ARF or I/DD experience, CPR/First Aid, valid CA driver's license and ability to drive a mobility van, HS diploma/GED, and the ability to lift 30+ lbs.
Before hire, you'll complete: background check and fingerprinting, physical, and TB screening.
We're looking for: dependability, strong documentation habits, calm under behavioral escalation, and the patience to coach rather than correct.
Pay: $22.00-$23.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time PM shift, 2:00pm–10:00pm. Must be available to work weekends.
