Prep Cook / Sushi Maker

Kikka sushi is looking for hardworking, dependable, prep cook / line cook / team member that will provide great customer service to our customers in the Whole Foods Market located at 261 Lusher Court Frisco, Colorado 80443 .

Job Shifts and days:

Full time only, 5 days a week, must work all Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays (weekdays off) working 7am – 4pm (includes an hour unpaid meal break).

Pay: $21.00. Per equal pay work act Section 7 CCR 1103-13-4 - Job Posting Requirements 4.1 up to $23.00 per hour, depending on years of sushi making experience. No years of sushi making experience, pay is $21.00 not negotiable.

What You’ll Do:

• Create : Prepare sushi in advance and per customer's request. Also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment.
• Learn : No experience making sushi, no problem we will teach you! 
• Connect : Engage with customers, answer their questions, and share your love of our food.
• Grow : Expand your culinary skills and advance your career in a company. We love to promote from within!
• To succeed : must show up to work on time and as scheduled, be willing to learn and work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to make sushi quickly and look nice too), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few weeks or a couple of months) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English.

What We’re Looking For:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Be able and willing to work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Be familiar with sushi (hint: it’s not just raw fish)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Food handling experience is preferred.
