Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years with strong experience preferred; 3 years preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: C-EFM, BLS, NRP, STABLE; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Charge experience required - Scrub experience preferred - Cerner experience required - Completion of at least 1 travel assignment Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for an immediate start. The position is for night shifts, working 3 shifts per week. Strong experience in labor and delivery is required. Candidates must have experience with charge responsibilities. Scrub experience is preferred. Experience in using the Cerner charting system is required. The role will require floating between mother/baby units as needed. On-call shifts are required, with scheduling every other weekend. Candidates will be working in a fast-paced environment. Patient ratios during shifts are expected to be manageable. The nurse will provide care for neonates and adolescents. Supervisory references are required to support relevant experience. Candidates should have experience in high-risk deliveries and postpartum care. The position requires nursing skills in administration, monitoring, and education. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role. Candidates must possess the required certifications upon submission.
