Temporary Part-Time Prn Endoscopy Shifts At Main Hospital And FreewayThis posting is for temporary part-time prn (as needed) endoscopy shifts at main hospital and freeway. 4 /10 hour days. 0630-1700 plus call 1-3x a month, + holiday.The in-house agency rn program offers prn employment for 13-week intervals. Participants are required to work 40 hours/week for 13 weeks and will be paid a competitive hourly rate plus weekend differentials. To qualify, applicants must have a valid rn license issued by the state of arkansas and 12 months experience in an acute care hospital. Experience in the past 12 months must include 6 months in a direct patient care role in an acute care hospital. Applicants cannot be currently employed by uams, and previous uams employees must have terminated more than 180 days prior.The endoscopy registered nurse (rn) will provide specialized care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures in a high-acuity academic medical center. This professional nursing role will require the ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff. Requires the ability to effectively work with patient referral sources, facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, and provide patient education on complex conditions. The rn will work with the individual patient, their families, and providers of care to develop and implement individual health plans.
