What You'll Do • Implement and test components of the lexer, parser, and type checker • Support the device-class targeting system's type-level implementation • Write compiler test suites covering syntax, type-checking, and diagnostic behavior • Fix bugs and edge cases identified through internal dogfooding of the language • Contribute to language specification documentation What We're Looking For • 3+ years of experience in compiler or interpreter engineering, or comparable coursework/project experience with a real implementation to show for it • Working knowledge of parsing techniques and type-checking fundamentals • Familiarity with at least one modern language's compiler internals (Kotlin, Swift, Rust, or similar) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience • Performance bonus program tied to individual and company milestones • Visa sponsorship available for the right talent • Full-time role with a minimum one-year commitment • A rare opportunity to help design and build a production programming language from scratch • Collaborative, mission-driven team environment • Paid time off and company holidays • Professional development and continuing education support Winixx Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
