Job Title Mechanical Technician Location Chester, NS Pay Range Based on Experience Shift Monday to Friday, daytime hours Job Responsibilities Read job specifications, interpret and work from engineering drawings to assemble custom heavy equipment including winching systems Perform DC wiring systems (12‑24V) Work with all variations and sizes of hydraulic systems (closed and open loop), including systems from 2GPM to 200+GPM Utilize large cranes, lift trucks, etc. to transfer and manufacture equipment Participate in static and dynamic testing of finished equipment Qualifications Previous experience in assembling hydraulic and mechanical systems is essential Knowledgeable in DC‑based electrical systems and ability to perform overall diagnostics on equipment is an asset Licensed Mechanic License and/or equivalent experience Hands‑on troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, overhaul, and maintenance of heavy equipment Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills Benefits Opportunity to work in an agile and supportive team environment Engage in meaningful work with advanced heavy equipment systems Develop your skills in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Contribute to the successful assembly and testing of high‑quality equipment Be part of a company committed to safety, innovation, and professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
