Keep a Premier Hospitality & Conference Facility Running at Its Best

We're looking for an experienced Building Engineer who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and can deliver a first-class experience in a high-end hospitality environment. This isn't your typical office building. You'll help maintain two beautifully designed facilities featuring over 100 guest suites, conference and training spaces, and premium finishes that demand exceptional attention to detail.

Occupancy can change quickly—from nearly empty to fully booked—so we're looking for someone who stays calm under pressure, adapts easily, and takes ownership of keeping the property operating at its best.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across multiple building systems

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, generators, fire alarm, and life safety systems

• Maintain doors, door hardware, fixtures, and general building components

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests while providing outstanding customer service

• Monitor building equipment and make adjustments to ensure peak performance

• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors when needed

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance documentation

• Keep mechanical spaces and work areas clean, organized, and professional at all times

• Maintain the appearance and functionality expected in a luxury hospitality environment

• Help create a safe, comfortable experience for guests, visitors, and staff

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of commercial building maintenance or operating engineer experience

• Well-rounded knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, lighting, fire alarms, generators, and general building maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently

• Experience performing preventative maintenance on commercial facilities

• Professional appearance with a customer-first attitude

• Takes pride in clean, high-quality workmanship and always cleans up after every job

• Comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change throughout the day

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

• High school diploma or GED

• EPA Universal Certification is a plus, but not required

• Trade school or technical training in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems is a plus
