Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care within a standard patient ratio of 1:6
• Care for adult patients and occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the unit
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using MedHost EMR
• Participate in census-based on-call as needed prior to scheduled shift start when census is low
• Float to other units as required per facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be eligible for New Mexico state fingerprint clearance; submitting agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Experience with MedHost EMR
