As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Robards, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while helping create a positive experience for shoppers and staff.

Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter areas as assigned.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and assist with closing procedures, alarm-related responses, and/or other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
