Team Lead - Periop

Job Summary Position Title : Team Lead - Patient Care Services Location : PACU – Tobey Hospital, Wareham, MA Hours : 40 hrs per week, Day shift 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; on‑call coverage may be required. Under the direction of an individually assigned Manager, Patient Care and/or Director, Patient Services, perform diversified duties both within and in support of the department, including leadership, performance review process, daily operations, departmental manpower scheduling, fiscal responsibilities, educational responsibilities, performance improvement, liaison, quality and related duties. Responsibilities Provide leadership to the patient care services team. Conduct performance reviews for staff. Manage daily operations and staffing schedules. Oversee fiscal responsibilities related to the department. Coordinate educational and training programs. Lead continuous improvement and quality initiatives. Serve as liaison with other departments and external agencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge and experience. Minimum of three years related work experience; supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to utilize technology to document, evaluate and manage patient outcomes. Excellent organizational, coordination and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal, customer‑service and communication skills. Current RN registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Previous experience in perioperative services, including Pre‑op, PACU, Intra‑op or Endo. Specialty certification required within six months of hire. ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
