Bambini Childcare in Ellicott City is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. We're looking for someone who brings both structure and warmth into the classroom-someone who understands that young children thrive when learning feels purposeful, safe, and joyful.

About the Role

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will guide a classroom of young learners (ages 2-5), creating an engaging environment that supports their social, emotional, and academic development. You'll take ownership of curriculum planning, classroom management, and family communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards
• Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress
• Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians
• Supervise and support assistant teachers
• Ensure compliance with Maryland licensing and safety regulations
• Encourage curiosity, independence, and positive social behavior

Qualifications

• Minimum 90-hour Preschool Certification (Maryland requirement)
• At least 1 year of preschool teaching experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• A genuine passion for working with young children
