Buyer II

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the procurement department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, proactive problem-solving, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Plymouth, MN. HYBRID (4 days onsite and 1 day remote)

Pay Range: $30/hr - $33/hr on w2

What's the Job?

• Manage purchasing and procurement of direct materials including raw materials, electronics, plastic tubing, and labels.
• Review pricing, lead times, and issue purchase orders using ERP systems such as SAP.
• Update and maintain master data in ERP systems, including lead times and quantities.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address invoice issues and maintain inventory levels.
• Participate in weekly status reviews and support cross-functional teams to ensure procurement goals are met.

What's Needed?

• 2-3+ years of direct materials purchasing experience, with familiarity in managing purchase orders and supplier communication.
• ERP system experience, specifically SAP, is required.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred or extensive professional experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong reliability, independence, and ability to work with limited supervision.
