Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Room registered nurse for a travel assignment in Washington, District of Columbia. The role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced trauma environment, managing complex nursing responsibilities, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The RN will be instrumental in delivering safe and high-quality patient care across a range of clinical situations.

Job Details:

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse
• Location: Washington, District of Columbia
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington; ER experience of at least 3 years; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN is highly desired; Cerner experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced trauma care, certification in TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Additional Information: The ED is a high-acuity environment that manages critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusions, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care to pediatric and critical trauma cases. Candidates must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN and manage 1:5 ratios. Must reside within 50 miles of the facility location.
