Radiology Technician Limited & Medical Assistant, Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Full Time, Days
The Limited Radiology Technician & Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a radiology department supervisor, manager and/or Radiologist and is responsible for radiographing patients for diagnostic purposes, within their scope of practice.

Required Skills
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment which may include a considerable amount of walking, and physical assistance for patients.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and safety.
- Adaptability and accuracy.
- Must have good visual acuity and motor coordination.
- Strong clinical skills.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Strong computer skills (data entry and typing).
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Talking or hearing essential to communicate with patients and staff.
- Good communication skills; read, speaks, and writes English fluently.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Required Experience
Required:
- Current Limited X-Ray Technician License
- Graduation certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- (BLS) Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
- 2 years of front and back medical office experience
