Automotive Service Technician
Automotive Service Technicians at Rad Air make up the bulk of our technician workforce, and are responsible for performing digital vehicle inspections, executing basic diagnostics & testing procedures, and successfully completing various maintenance, repair, and service procedures on both domestic and foreign vehicles.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:
- Perform digital vehicle inspections and diagnostics to address client concerns.
- Document results of inspections and diagnostics using Tekmetric shop software.
- Service vehicles as directed by replacing/repairing parts, or performing regular and preventative maintenance services.
- Utilize shop equipment to perform fluid exchanges, wheel/tire balancing, and alignments.
- Observe and follow all necessary safety guidelines and regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Maintain Rad Air's clean workspace and shop standards at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum (2) years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Clean driving record
Additional Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree in Automotive Technology is desired but not a requirement.
- ASE certifications are highly desirable but not a requirement.
