As a Security Officer Bilingual Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.26 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, assist with visitor directions and general inquiries, and support a professional presence that helps to promote order within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
