This will be accomplished through design, fabrication, testing and maintenance of heat exchangers and related process equipment. Metalforms was recently acquired by TransTech Energy, a leading provider of custom-engineered and fabricated solutions for liquids and gas processing, storage, transfer, and utilization across a broad range of industries including energy, petrochemical, specialty chemical, renewables, biofuels, and a variety of industrial process industries. Welder IIwill be qualified on all processes and in all positions for the different processes and on a vast array of material including P1, P8, P10H and nickel alloys. Master welder will be capable and willing to perform all task, without backlash, and in a timely manner, including welding root passes, back gouging, cleanup of back gouge roots, tube to tube joints, tube to tube sheet joints not including QW-193, structural welds, and other pressure retaining welds used in the fabrication of equipment for our customers. Welder II MUST be able to interpret and follow welding procedures. Responsibilities: Select and safely use appropriate equipment suitable for work being performed. Perform all tasks related to welding. Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and properly stored or kept. Communicate with leadership all aspects and phases (safety, productivity, and quality) of work. Check completed work prior to final welding to ensure conformity to specifications. Knowledge of overhead cranes and hand signals Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in safe rigging practices Must be able to adhere to standards and perform a quality job in a safe manner within an acceptable time. Physical requirements include Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, and reaching, standing for long periods of time, lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. May be required to work at heights up to 25 feet.
