Summary
Join a leading mobile diagnostic healthcare provider as a General Sonographer serving healthcare facilities throughout the Albany, GA region. Position: General Sonographer
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Location: Albany, GA
Schedule: Day Shift (4x10s or 5x8s)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible Start Times)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mobile ultrasound examinations at healthcare facilities.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images.
- Upload images electronically for radiologist interpretation.
- Verify physician orders and patient identification before each exam.
- Travel between assigned facilities using a company-provided vehicle.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle.
- Communicate with dispatch and clinical teams throughout the day.
- Complete required documentation and billing accurately.
- Deliver compassionate, professional patient care.
Minimum Requirements
- ARDMS or CCI Certification (Required)
- Echo and Vascular ultrasound experience (Required)
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Valid Driver's License
- COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and travel between facilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing portable/mobile ultrasound exams
- Skilled in general, vascular, and echocardiography imaging
- Comfortable working in nursing homes, home care, and other healthcare settings
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
