Relationship Banker Sr

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY This position is responsible for contributing to overall branch sales efforts, maintaining best‑in‑class service levels for the branch, and assisting with the operational integrity of the branch. The role provides expertise in delivering exemplary client service, completes onboarding workshops and relevant educational tools, resolves client inquiries, and analyzes client needs for cross‑sell opportunities. It involves client retention, new client development through referral sources and business development calling, and active engagement in the branch sales process to meet branch and individual goals. WHAT WILL YOU DO Act as a champion for clients and colleagues, providing exemplary service. Partner with bank colleagues across all divisions to support client retention objectives and promote appropriate solutions. Assist clients with their banking transactions as directed by branch management. Complete onboarding workshops and apply educational tools effectively. Contribute to the unit’s service objectives and assist with the branch’s operational integrity. Deliver all new account components, including maintenance, service requests, and risk management. Profile clients during the new account process and identify cross‑sell opportunities for bank products and services. Call on and collaborate with prospects and existing clients to determine their financial needs and develop relationship plans. Manage an active client portfolio, expanding relationships and adding qualified relationships within Business, Professional, and Preferred Banking segments. Interact professionally with all bank personnel and clients, demonstrating commitment to quality service. Participate in civic and community affairs, industry organizations, and other professional activities as appropriate. Make decisions consistent with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, managing associated risk. Track performance goals and results accurately for reporting purposes. Collaborate with all sales partners. Comply fully with all operational, credit, and regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, and Code of Conduct. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in a banking environment. Minimum 3 years of basic computer experience (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be in good standing under the Safe Act and registered or able to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. Additional Qualifications Working knowledge of bank operations, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance. Working knowledge of bank products and services. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Good problem‑solving skills. Maintain good standing under the Safe Act. COMPENSATION Starting base salary: $25.93–$41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
