Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to special education evaluations and planning Connect students and families to community resources and support services Identify and report suspected child abuse or neglect in accordance with mandated reporter guidelines Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and progress reports Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Current LMSW or LCSW licensure in the state of Maryland Experience working with school-age children and adolescents preferred Familiarity with IEP processes, IDEA, and special education frameworks Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions Excellent communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards About Us: Charm City Therapy is a dedicated allied health practice committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality therapeutic services to individuals and communities across Maryland.
