Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2790 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization, 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Observation/telemetry unit; an extension of the Emergency room serving a short-stay population with a focus on hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend required. Required holidays - per unit need.

5 days maximum time off
