Project Engineer

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.What You Will Experience In This Position:Review quotes, proposals, and purchase orders to confirm design requirements, technical accuracy, and pricing.Develop project design schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues.Coordinate design activities including civil design, steel fabrication, and project meetings.Travel to customer sites to conduct technical evaluations, develop recommendations, and assist with field measurements when needed.Resolve project design and warranty issues and respond to customer feedback on drawings.Review customer and internal drawings to ensure compliance with specifications; identify corrections as needed.Identify scope changes, and initiate requests for change orders.Prepare engineering studies (e.g., CFD analysis) for customer projects or product development.Drive product and process improvements and support development of new product offerings.Provide technical support and data to internal and external customers.You Have:A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar fieldWorking knowledge of drafting and 3-D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar)1-2+ years of engineering or design experience preferredWe Have:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayCommitment to strengthen communities where our employees live and workCore values that shape our culture and drive us to deliver the best for our employees and our customersBenefits to support the lives of our employees
