Monthly Employee Engagement Activities Who you are: - Current licensure by the California Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Examiners - One year of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in assisted living, long‑term care- or a similar setting - Strong communication, clinical, and leadership skills - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Job Summary: We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our assisted living team. In this role, you’ll provide basic therapeutic, restorative, and preventive care to residents while supporting their independence and overall well-being. You’ll collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and caregivers to implement individualized care plans and ensure the highest quality of care. The LVN also provides direction and supervision to care staff in accordance with community policies and state regulations. Administersmedicationstoresidentsasordered. ProvidesdirectnursingcaretoresidentswithintheguidelinesofRCFEregulationsandfacilitypolicy. Documents nursing care in support of planned outcomes. ConsultswiththeDirectorofAL/SCRregardingdesiredpatientoutcomesandprogressorlackof progress toward the outcomes. Identifies changes in resident status that interfere with the ability to meet basic needs. IdentifiesproblemsandreportstotheDirectorofAL/SCRformodificationoftheplanofcare. Observesandassesseseffectsofmedications,reportsfindingstoDirector ofAL/SCRanddocuments appropriately. Attends AL Department meetings as scheduled. Responsibleforcompletionande-mailingofshiftreport. CompletesallonlinetrainingscheduledbytheDirectorofStaffDevelopment andDirectorofAL/SCR. AssistsintheeffectiveoperationofCasadelasCampanasandparticipatesinrelevantfacilityactivities. Responsible for assisting Director in the evaluating of AL CNAs Ordersandmaintains medications. Keepsaccuratemaintenanceofmedicalrecords. AssistwithpreppingpaperworkforanydischargeofresidentsfromHealthCenterbacktoAL/SCR.
