As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Evansville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and report security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, completing incident reports, and assisting with traffic, delivery, and/or visitor flow in accordance with post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
