Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Travel Assignment Location: Marble Falls, TX Contract: 13-Week Travel Contract Compensation: $72.00/Hour | $2,592 Weekly Gross Hours: 36 Hours Per Week Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12s Schedule: Weekends Required | Possible On-Call Join a high-performing labor & delivery team! Schedule 3 Night Shifts per Week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Must arrive on the unit by 6:40 PM and be ready for report at 6:45 PM Weekends required Potential on-call responsibilities Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum process. Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies. Advocate for patients while promoting a safe, compassionate, and therapeutic care environment. Qualifications Required Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience BLS Certification ACLS Certification NRP Certification BSN Required Preferred LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience STABLE Certification What We're Looking For Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients Excellent communication and patient education abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team Commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care #J-18808-Ljbffr CornerStone Medical
