Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine maintenance on looms, commercial laundry machines, or dyeing/finishing equipment to prevent costly breakdowns. [1, 2]
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical system failures. Replace worn or defective parts (e.g., bearings, belts, valves). [1, 2, 3]
• Calibrate and adjust machinery parameters (e.g., tension, speed, thread/yarn feeds) to ensure high-quality fabric production. [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Adhere strictly to OSHA, EPA, and HAZMAT regulations. This includes performing lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures. [1, 2, 3]
• Keep detailed records of machine performance, repairs, and parts inventory using computer maintenance management systems
• Strong working knowledge of gear drives, chains, sprockets, and bearing assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of 480v/3phase circuits, motors, inverter drives, and Programmable Logic Controllers
• Must be able to lift up to 50–100 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, and work in varied plant environments.
