Structural Engineer

Structural Design Development Role

Support the analysis, design, and detailing of building structural systems across educational, civic, cultural, and commercial projects. This is a development role on a licensure track, working directly alongside licensed structural engineers, architects, and interior designers in a single collaborative office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of building structural systems
• Prepare construction documents
• Perform design load calculations and structural modeling
• Perform site visits to verify existing field conditions
• Conduct interdisciplinary coordination with architecture, civil, and MEP

Qualifications Required

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in building structural design
• FE passed and EIT designation preferred, or a clear intent to pursue licensure
• Working proficiency in the design of building structural systems and the production of construction documents

Preferred

• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and RISA-3D or equivalent analysis software
• Exposure to existing-building assessment or renovation work
• Field experience verifying existing conditions
