Automation Developer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation applications using low-code and no-code platforms and configuring systems to support transversal developments for business domains including Regulatory Reporting, KYC, Compliance, HR, Global Markets, Finance, Risk, & Operations. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams (Business, Support and Control functions) to identify automation opportunities, build, and deploy automated solutions.

The role will focus on implementation to support the following:

• Delivering applications on low-code platforms (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc), as well as leveraging SharePoint and DataVerse and Sql Server backend
• Researching and analyzing business processes with the scope of optimizing and automating them.
• Supporting, developing and maintaining existing Risk Decision Tool

This is a hybrid onsite role, 3 days per week onsite in NY mid-town office. 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays each month.

Skills:

• Microsoft Power Platform (App, Automate, BI)
• Sql server
  • Stored procs
  • Database design, understanding indexes, performance tuning
  • MERGE commands, creating tables, relational models, left, right joins
  • Power platform, apps, flows, galleries
  • Sql connectors and other connectors on power platform, not just technologies, used called sql server
• AD entitlements and dealing with IT security, cross functional teams
• Power bi (nice to have)
• Good command of DevOps practices, Agile methods
• Worked in an office and not remote
• In tri-state area, not interested in them moving, having a license in tri-state
• Worked in a finance, equity or equivalent institution
• Resume consistent with linked in.

• Not needing a 9 page resume of someone who as 2 years' experience
• Demonstrate they have been with org 18-24 months (consultant max for Finance orgs)
• Demonstrate "What they actually built and for what department".

• Change Management-process Sun/Service NOW
• Alteryx, and other low code tooling is nice to have
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform and Share Point Online and SQL Server a MUST
• Ability to develop on the following low-code tooling such as: Microsoft Power Platform (power ai, power automate, etc..), Alteryx, SharePoint leveraging SharePoint, DataVerse and SQL Server
• Handle and manage multiple requests at the same time.
• Worked in a production environment and supported (build the bank/maintain the bank) for various business units in a financial environment: From Front Office to Support (RAD, Operations, Finance, IT…) and Control functions (Risk, Compliance, Audit…).
• Has demonstrated that they have developed business applications for a Finance institution, bank or similar organization
• Taking a proactive approach for problem identification and solving.
• Strong ability to research, investigate basic and complex IT related topics and propose solutions.
• Collaborating with customers to assist on BRD (Business Requirements Document) as well as capturing and defining technical specification requirements.
