Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is currently partnering with multiple school districts throughout New York to fill immediate and upcoming openings for K–12 Special Education Teachers. These are full-time contract opportunities supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers who are passionate about creating supportive learning environments and opening to Traveling to anywhere in the state of NY. This comes with a stipend package that is hard to beat!

Program & Classroom Details

• Elementary, middle, and high school caseloads available
• Opportunities in resource, inclusion, and self-contained settings
• Classroom sizes and caseloads vary by district
• Students supported based on individualized IEP needs
• Some classrooms include behavioral intervention plans and additional classroom support staff
• Collaborative school environments with strong administrative support

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEP-driven instruction and accommodations
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain classroom structure and positive behavior supports
• Track student progress and complete required documentation
• Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification required
• Previous school-based or special education experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Ability to support students with varying academic and behavioral needs

Position Details

• Full-time contract positions through ProCare Therapy
• Weekly pay/ Stipend with tax free benefits (Higher Pay rather than your normal W-2 assignment)
