About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing. Description: Weekly Orientations are provided. The facility includes medical/surgical patient floors with a census typically ranging from 10 to 20 patients. Patient ratios are 4-6 patients per RN. Equipment used includes IV pumps and monitors. The electronic health record system in use is Meditech. The patient population primarily includes adults, with a focus on geriatrics and post-operative cases. Common diagnoses treated include sepsis, pneumonia, heart failure, renal failure, and various post-operative conditions such as back and joint surgeries. Teamwork and flexibility are essential for this position. Dress code requires navy blue, royal blue, Caribbean blue, black, or gray scrubs, with undershirts limited to black, white, or gray. Scrub jackets are required, and unacceptable attire includes hoodies, sweatshirts, or fleece. The position is currently vacant, and we are looking for a qualified candidate.
