Description Starting Salary: $25 / hour and up Overview Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch. They devote their time getting to know their customers and building lasting relationships by providing trusted advice. Responsibilities Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions, supporting spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs using strong communication and problem-solving skills. Get to know customers’ personal financial goals and recommend tailored solutions (e.g., planning for the future, buying a home or opening a new credit card). Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking options (app, ATMs). Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners to help customers with more complex needs. Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments, understanding that a fit today may differ in 6 months. Adhere to all financial policies and procedures, including cash handling and applicable laws and regulations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2 years of sales and customer service experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals Ability to ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship Proven success in building relationships and recommending/referring products and services in person and over the phone Skills in using digital technology to support business goals Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues Ability to collaborate with teammates, business partners and specialists Self-motivated, confident, and able to multitask Willingness to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings Compliance with SAFE Act requirements, including pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier Preferred Skills/Experience 1 year cash handling experience Hours and Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings Pay Transparency The salary range for this position is $25.48 - $31.25 per hour, plus incentive earnings.
