The Role Working closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and culinary leadership team, the Line Cook plays a hands-on role in daily kitchen operations, food execution, and station support. This position helps maintain culinary standards, supports team efficiency, and ensures a smooth and consistent service. What You’ll Do Prepare and execute food items while maintaining all safety and sanitation standards Properly prep, stock, and maintain assigned stations throughout service Ensure quality control and consistency by following standardized recipes Store, label, and date all food products according to policy Maintain consistency in portioning, cooking, and presentation Demonstrate basic knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills Safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment Communicate equipment needs and maintenance requests to management Properly store ingredients and deliveries according to sanitation guidelines Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to FIFO procedures, and uphold strong personal hygiene standards Complete all opening, mid-shift, and closing duties in a timely manner Who You Are Hardworking and reliable with a strong sense of urgency Experienced in a high-volume kitchen environment Detail-oriented and organized Flexible and comfortable working nights and weekends A team player who thrives in a structured kitchen environment What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role Basic understanding of cooking techniques, station maintenance, and food safety standards Commitment to quality, consistency, and sanitation Food handler’s certification (or ability to obtain) A collaborative mindset and pride in representing the restaurant Why This Role Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen focused on quality and consistency Be part of a restaurant that values teamwork, standards, and growth Opportunity to develop skills and grow within the organization Benefits & Perks: Health, Dental, and Voluntary Benefits Package (available after 90 days), employer-sponsored mental health and resource program, 401(k) program, paid sick leave, career mentorship and growth potential, and dining incentives across our 20+ establishments! Physical Requirements: Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
