Locums - Rockford, Illinois - Vascular Surgeon Job

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible vascular surgeon
• ASAP start - ongoing need
• Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted)
• Clean background required
• Rush credentialing; temporary privileges will be requested
• This role supplements an existing team - coverage is sporadic with variable shift dates
• Preference for local providers due to flexible/as-needed schedule
• Practice setting:
  • Busy, well-established vascular surgery program with continued growth
  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Must perform both open and endovascular procedures
• Clinical expectations:
  • Average census: 5-10 patients per day
  • Approximately 6 outpatient elective procedures
• Support:
  • 1 APP + nursing staff in clinic
  • 2 APPs assisting with inpatient rounding
• Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday clinic: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Night call (not nightly)
  • Some 24-hour weekend call coverage
• EMR: EPIC
