Role Overview As Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll own the full MarTech stack, build workflows, and act as a strategic connector between data, technology, and human insight to drive measurable impact. You’ll operate as a team of one with AI and automation tools. What You’ll Do Own the Marketing Engine – and Make It Smarter: Keep the MarTech infrastructure running, clean data, deploy automation, evaluate new tools. Run the Operational Rhythm: Lead routing, scoring, lifecycle nurtures, and campaign execution. Drive Lifecycle & Funnel Performance: Build nurture programs that move prospects through the funnel and partner with Sales and Growth. Turn Data Into Direction: Build dashboards and reporting that communicate marketing impact. Be a Force Multiplier: Demonstrate AI‑augmented marketing, document playbooks, share best practices. Own Events & Key Programs: Operate the backbone of webinars, conferences, and customer programs. Manage Vendors & the Stack: Oversee MarTech budget, vendor relationships, and renewals. Keep It Clean & Compliant: Ensure data integrity and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, FERPA. What You’ll Bring to the Table Experience: 4-7 years in Marketing Operations or a related B2B SaaS role, ideally in EdTech. Tools: Hands‑on HubSpot experience, ABM, analytics tools. Automation & Scaling: Proven automation and process optimization that scales. AI Fluency: Familiar with LLMs, automation platforms, AI‑powered analytics. Systems Thinking: Can design workflows that connect data, tools, and teams. Data Storytelling: Translate numbers into actionable narratives. Cross‑Functional Alignment: Experience aligning marketing and sales. Project Management: Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy regulations. Bonus Points If You Have Built or managed AI‑driven systems or agent‑based workflows.
