Job Summary Secures new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance services. Responsible for growing revenue and profitability in assigned geographic area by selling regulated medical waste and compliance services (OSHA/HIPAA) services, while meeting or exceeding established annual goals. This position is remote; you must reside in the greater Long Island, Brooklyn, or Queens, NY area based on customer support needs. Responsibilities Call blocks to healthcare facilities to schedule on‑site appointments and demonstrate compliance capabilities. Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting and business development skills. Sell regulated medical waste, OSHA and HIPAA compliance solutions to new and existing customers, including win‑back of former Stericycle customers. Build and sustain strong, trusting relationships with customers, leveraging face‑to‑face experience and local expertise. Follow up on targeted marketing campaigns to grow business in the geography. Participate in market development activities, identify under‑developed areas, and implement initiatives to increase market penetration and sales. Qualifications Required Two years of field outside sales experience. Prepared to travel within a defined, local territory on a daily basis; minimal long‑distance travel required. Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR guidelines. High‑school diploma or equivalent (accredited). Preferred Experience selling in a business‑to‑business environment with varying sales cycles and multiple decision‑makers. Experience in a high‑volume/high‑transaction industry. Post‑secondary education (college or university degree). Experience using Salesforce or other similar CRM and SAP. Ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Strong prospecting and business development skills. Expertise in initiating and managing successful B2B sales and service relationships. Strong, polished professional communication skills, negotiating abilities, and excellent phone etiquette. Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and internet/social media. Results‑oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success. Physical Requirements Combination of office and field environment; routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. Pay The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $65,000–$75,000. The specific salary offered may vary based on experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. This position is eligible for incentive pay.
