What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out in-depth patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
• Instructing patients and families on prevention, wellness, and managing health conditions
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice

• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve within 90 days)
