What You'll Do

• Perform morning rounds and daily progress notes for surgical patients
• Manage medications, labs, and diagnostic studies
• Conduct patient history and physical examinations
• Assist in complex cardiothoracic surgeries including robotic, open-heart procedures, and ECMO
• Provide post-operative care: chest tube management, patient discharge, and summaries
• Attend multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to team discussions
• Support in the operating room as first assist during procedures such as lobectomies, valve repairs, and bypass surgeries
• Manage ICU and step-down patient care as assigned
• Participate in call rotation, providing emergency coverage and urgent patient assessments

What You Need

• Valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in Washington
• Strong clinical skills in cardiothoracic surgery and ICU care
• Ability to work flexible hours, including call and weekend responsibilities
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
