About the Role:

As a Kitchen Manager at Alhambra Health and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. You will be working closely with our culinary team to plan and execute menus, manage food inventory, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and serve high-quality meals to our residents

• Manage food inventory, receiving, and storage

• Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

• Develop and implement menus that meet resident dietary needs and preferences

• Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure seamless service to residents

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a kitchen management role

• Food Safety Certification (ServSafe) preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or experience a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
